Stella's inspirations
What are your sources of inspiration?
Today's women, without hesitation. Since I create for them, I observe them constantly. A garment is beautiful only if the woman wearing it feels good in it. The life of a piece on the body, its movement, is as important as the trend. Therefore, even though I am interested in the spirit of the times, it is truly the street and women's daily lives that inspire me the most.
What is your connection with fashion?
Fashion is omnipresent in my life. It is my daily life as I am always thinking about the next SUNCOO collections, my desires for the upcoming season, and the needs of women. Fashion has also been present in my personal life since my adolescence: it is my way of expressing myself, of conveying a message about my state of mind, of simply saying who I am.
What is your vision of femininity?
It is multiple. A woman can take on several roles at different times of the day. She can be a mother, wife, businesswoman, best friend, daughter, woman, strong or fragile... Femininity does not lead to a fixed definition; it is deeply evolving. It is more related to the feeling that a woman has of herself: it is because we feel feminine that we become so in the eyes of others.
